Hello! I am Candice Cusic, and I am a photojournalist based in Chicago with a passion for visual storytelling. Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember; I have always used it as a medium to tell stories.

My journey began at the age of four with a toy camera, and by the time I was six, I had started using my father's old Minolta SLR. I have been a photo geek ever since.

With two decades of experience as a photojournalist, I have worked for some of the biggest publications in the country, including the Chicago Tribune. In 2000, I was a part of a Pulitzer Prize-winning team. I taught photojournalism at Northwestern University for the last 12 years. Photography is not just a job for me; it's a passion that I feel honored to be internationally recognized for.
