The first thing you might notice about Tara and Tim is the height difference. Tim is 6’7, Tara is 5’5. This leaves one foot of love between them. The second thing you’ll notice, is how much love is between these two. It’s much more than a foot!

They had a great afternoon Chicago wedding at Galleria Marchetti, and filled it with details from Tara’s mom, who owns an antique store. Tara’s grandfather was also their officiant!

From Tara: “Tim and I, where to begin. Tim and I met many years ago at the Hange Uppe (yes, it is true,) but in our defense it was through mutual friends who happened to be there and introduced us. Tim likes everyone to know he was there against his will celebrating a friend’s birthday. I was going through a phase where I went to the Hange Uppe more frequently than anyone should admit. The rest I guess is history.

About us, well, I guess we are just your average quirky couple. Tim is really tall and I am, well, not. We have a cat who most of the time is kind of a jerk, but we love him anyways. We love living in Chicago and like to explore our city. We particularly love anything to do with good food and our favorite date spot is the zoo. Tim is a goofball and is always making up songs and doing silly things to make me laugh. It always works. We both keep our respective hobbies (for example Tim is great at volleyball, softball and bowling and I like yoga photography and make a mean blueberry crisp,) but we enjoy doing many things together particularly cooking, binge watching TV series and currently we are trying to survive our beginners tennis lessons. We are very excited for our honeymoon in New Zealand, particularly whale watching, seals, hiking and biking through wine country.”
