As a Chicago pet photographer, I’ve found that German Shepherds are among the most thoughtful dogs I photograph. While they’re often celebrated for their intelligence and courage, it’s their devotion to their families that creates the most meaningful portraits.

That’s why I never rush a portrait session. The best photographs happen when a dog is comfortable enough to simply be themselves.
