Don’t Worry About Teaching New Tricks
You don’t need to spend weeks practicing “sit,” “stay,” or “look.”
In fact, introducing new commands right before your session often creates more stress than confidence.
We work with your dog’s existing personality and abilities. Whether your companion is a playful puppy, an energetic rescue, or a senior dog who prefers naps to posing, we’ll meet them exactly where they are.
Don’t Over-Exercise Your Dog
Many people think they should tire their dog out before arriving.
While a short walk is perfectly fine, an exhausted dog often appears tired in photographs.
Bright eyes, curiosity, and natural energy create more expressive portraits than complete exhaustion.
Think relaxed—not worn out.
Bring Their Favorite Treats
Every dog has a favorite reward.
Soft treats, tiny snacks, or a favorite toy can help capture your dog’s attention for just the right moment.

Keep the Morning Simple
The best preparation is often the simplest.
Feed your dog as you normally would.
Take a relaxed walk.
Arrive a few minutes early if possible.
Most importantly, stay calm yourself.
Dogs are incredibly tuned in to our emotions.
If you’re relaxed, they’ll usually be more relaxed too.
Trust the Process
You don’t need to worry about making your dog perform.
That’s our job.
My role isn’t simply taking photographs.

Sometimes that happens in the first five minutes.
Sometimes it takes a little longer.
Either way, we never rush.
