Why pose for family portraits when we can document you together, as a family? As a Chicago pet & family photographer, I capture all of the genuine moments that happen on your ordinary day. Bath time, snack time, nap time! We don’t have to line up together in a park and pose for the camera, let’s focus on capturing moments between you and your family in locations that are meaningful to you as a family.
Let’s go do something together! We can also shoot in my beautiful studio without distractions, you can focus on each other and the ones you love. When you look at your photos over your fireplace, or flip through your family album, your photographs will be even more special to you, since they show who you are, not just what you look like. One of the best things about photographing Ramona is watching everyone react to a pig in the building.
People stopped.
They smiled.
They took selfies.
One gentleman asked if I could wait so he could FaceTime his girlfriend because she loves pigs.
The hardest thing about photographing a pig is that pigs don`t stop moving.
Ever.
This portrait worked because Ramona kept walking in circles, allowing us to see her body and face at the same time.
Not shown: Ramona chewed up the paper backdrop on set. Her pig squeal echoed through the studio—loud, proud, and impossible to ignore, just like Ramona herself.
