Large families are full of love, and pet families are no different. In order to capture Lauren and her wonderful pets in their best moments we held multiple photoshoots in a couple of different locations.
Bubba’s calm, and sweet nature allowed us to hold a session in-studio. Lauren and Bubba have been together since he was a small pup. They found each other via a craigslist ad nearly eleven years ago, and have been inseparable ever since. His loyal and loving nature is evident in the way he let us work around him on the floor and position him on our black ottoman – one of our signature pieces of furniture here at the studio.
Mo-2 and Newie are two, three and four year old savannah cats. Mo-2’s human-like facial expressions and his tendency to meow for attention captured our hearts. Newie has a very outgoing nature and not only chirps to greet strangers but will jump up on them to say hello. Her attitude made some great portraits. To keep these felines comfortable we held a shoot on-location in Lauren’s delightful apartment space.
Lauren told us that welcoming so many animals into her life has taught her patience and brought her unconditional love at home.
