The Moment-Driven Photojournalism Workshop: Chicago Photography Classes

There aren’t many Chicago photography classes left in our beautiful city, which is why I love teaching my Moment-Driven Photojournalism Workshop in downtown Chicago.

This 2-day shooting workshop is designed to shake up your eye and help you see things differently. During portrait sessions, you can stop posing and just focus on capturing great moment-driven photographs. Students step outside their comfort zone by documenting strangers and I’m standing right beside them while they do it. 🙂

Here are some photographs of my students and some of the amazing Chicagoans we had the pleasure of documenting. I am so proud of my students!

Meet Blanca.
Rescued, but still learning how to feel safe again.
During her animal communication session, Blanca shared a feeling of being abandoned in the rain—until Michelle, her foster mom, found her and brought her to safety.
“I’m scared… but I’m trying.”
She’s waiting for someone to show her she’s finally home.
